checkout-link

You can generate checkout links directly from the Salable Dashboard. These links allow customers to purchase a specific plan.

Instructions

  1. Select Products from the navigation menu on the left-hand side.
  2. Select the product you want to configure.
  3. Navigate to the Plans tab.
  4. Click the card icon on the plan you want to create a checkout link for (on the right-hand side of the dashboard). Note: Checkout link generation is only available on paid plans.
  5. Fill in the required fields.

Required Fields

  • Grantee ID A unique identifier that determines who gets access to a subscription seat (e.g. user, team, or resource like a board).

  • Checkout Successful URL The URL to which a user is redirected after successfully completing a payment.

  • Quantity The number of seats to purchase for this plan

  • Allow changing quantity at checkout? Defines whether the user can adjust the quantity at checkout

  • Currency Select the currency the customer will use to pay.

  • Owner ID of the entity (user/team) for which the subscription is purchased.

Advanced Options

  • Customer Email Pre-defines the customer email used during checkout.

  • Customer ID Pre-define the customer ID used during checkout. Sets the users email.

  • Allow Promo Code? Enable customers to apply promotion codes during checkout.

  • Promo Code (only valid if promo code is allowed) Pre-define the promo code value to apply a discount to the checkout

  • Automatic Tax Automatically calculates applicable taxes during the session. Must be registered for Stripe tax for this to have any effect.

  • Checkout Cancelled URL The URL to redirect the user if they cancel a payment or subscription.

After completing these steps with the necessary information, the generated checkout link will be available to copy and use for customers to purchase your products and services.
