Clone Plans

If you want to create a new plan using an existing plan as a template—or build a bespoke plan for a customer—you can use the Clone button to make a copy.

Bespoke Plan Flow​

For an existing customer​

  1. Copy the plan
  2. Update the features and adjust pricing as needed.
  3. Update the plan associated with the user’s subscription via the Salable API.

For a new customer​

  1. Copy an existing plan.
  2. Update the features and adjust pricing as needed.
  3. Generate a checkout link via the Salable API and send it to the customer.

Step-by-Step Instructions​

  1. Go to Products in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select the product you want to configure.
  3. Open the Plans tab.
  4. Find the plan you want to clone and click Clone.
tip

Plans will always be cloned with "Show in pricing table" set to false. Once you've made any necessary changes and marked you can set it to true.

If you're creating a bespoke plan you can leave "Show in pricing table" set to false.

  1. The cloned plan appears in the list.
  2. Select the new plan and make any necessary changes.
