Managing subscriptions

Use subscriptions to charge an ongoing, recurring fee for your products or services.

You can view all the subscriptions within your Salable instance by clicking on Subscriptions in the dashboard menu, or you can view subscriptions for a specific product by going to the Subscriptions tab on the product page.

Subscriptions will have one of the following statuses:

  • Active: The subscription is active and valid.
  • Trialling: The subscription is within its trial period.
  • Cancelled: The subscription has been cancelled.

Cancel a subscription

You can cancel a customer's subscription through the dashboard. Go to the Subscriptions page, select the subscription you want to cancel, and click the Cancel Now button.

Cancelling a subscription cancels all of the seats under that subscription with immediate effect. You can view which seats are under a subscription by clicking on the Seats button.

If it's a paid subscription, the customer will be immediately refunded for any unused days in their subscription.

Auto-renew a subscription

Auto-renew can be toggled on or off on the subscription's info page.

If auto-renew is off, the subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing cycle. If it's on, it'll recur indefinitely.

View an invoice

You can view current and historic invoices for a subscription by clicking on the Invoices button on the subscription's info page.
